The fall meeting of the New York-New Jersey Intergovernmental Audit Forum will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Baruch College in New York, NY. 

The meeting’s theme is "Technology and Auditor Transformation."

The agenda is final and includes:

  • Cybersecurity Challenges and Initiatives

  • The Technology-Enabled Government Audit

  • Ensuring Data Quality and Reliability

The Forum will include a keynote address by Dr. Timothy M. Persons, Chief Scientist, U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on "The Audit Renaissance: Transformational Considerations in the Era of Big Data, AI, and Digital Ledger Technology"  In addition, Nick H. Marinos, Director, Cybersecurity & Data Protection Issues, Information Technology, GAO, will speak on "Cybersecurity Challenges."

The registration fee is $125 per person and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.  Participants may earn 7 CPE credits for full attendance and may receive their certificate by accessing the program evaluation.

No prerequisites and/or advance preparation is required to attend.

Appropriate dress for this event is Business Casual.
