New this Year: Welcome the Next Generation of Volunteer Leaders
Join the Honorable Andrew M. Mead, Associate Justice, Maine Supreme Judicial Court as he swears-in the 2018-2019 class of Maine AmeriCorps members during the opening plenary. You will be witnesses to their pledge to serve Maine communities through 11 programs reaching from Machias to Sanford. As over 2000 Maine AmeriCorps Alums have proven, these people are the next generation of volunteer leaders.
Opening Plenary: Finding the Time for Doing It All

murphyHow do you fit in a full-time job, community activities, family, friends, household responsibilities and even some fun without exhausting yourself or driving yourself crazy? Time management expert and author Maryann Murphy will help us learn how to manage our time, reduce our stress, and find more time for the things we really want to do, both at work and at home. Includes tips for reducing the time-wasters in life and dealing with our most common time management problems.

Maryann Murphy, MSW, CPO® has spent over 35 years empowering people to become better organized and more productive, with her work in management, human services, government, and as an entrepreneur.  She holds degrees in Psychology and Social Work, and certification as a Certified Professional Organizer with a specialty in Chronic Disorganization.
Murphy has been a speaker, trainer, and professional organizer for over ten years, helping clients get their time and spaces better organized to reduce the clutter in their lives.  She is the author of Stop Wasting Your Precious Time: 60 Easy Strategies for Eliminating Your Biggest Time Wasters at Work, available on Amazon.com.  She is a past President of the National Speakers Association New England chapter and of Boston NOW (National Organization for Women), a Distinguished Toastmaster, and both a national and local leader in the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO).  She lives in Mashpee, MA.

       Covers morning reception, lunch, all sessions and conference materials.
