The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) serves as the focal point in communities for information about hazardous materials, emergency planning and environmental risks. To assist LEPCs in conducting their jobs more effectively the US EPA and FEMA, in conjunction with private industry and tribal, state, and local government partners, hosts the Region 7 LEPC Emergency Planning & Response Conference. 

The biennial Region 7 LEPC Emergency Planning and Response Conference brings together experts from business, industry, and government in the fields of chemical emergency, preparedness, prevention, transportation as well as health and safety in an effort to educate about protection from chemical risks and promotion of chemical safety.

Registration
Registration for the 2019 Region 7 LEPC Emergency Planning & Response Conference will be open soon. Registration for conference attendees will be $75 and includes attendance at Thursday’s Training Sessions, the Track Sessions on Friday and Saturday as well as daily refreshments and the Awards Luncheon on Friday, August 9. There is a special discounted registration price of $35 for current students.

All registrations must be completed before Friday, July 26, 2019.
