The U.S. Department of the Interior invites you to attend the 2010 DOI Conference on the Environment.  Scheduled April 26 - 30, 2010, in Portland, Oregon, the conference provides a forum for Interior staff, stakeholders from other agencies, and government, commercial, and non-profit exhibitors to meet and exchange information on a wide variety of environmental and natural resource topics and issues.  The 2010 Conference on the Environment will address important environmental issues, including:

Wind Energy  Climate Change and Greenhouse Gases
•  Sustainable Practices at DOI Facilities 
  Resource Conservation and Management
•  Environmental Collaboration, Partnering and Outreach 
  Environmental Remediation and Current Technologies

Attendees will be able to identify opportunities for sharing resources to solve environmental problems and receive training in various environmental subject areas.  Concurrent sessions will be held including training sessions, educational field trips, exhibits, papers, panels and poster presentations.  This conference will provide you with a wealth of knowledge that you won't find anywhere else.

The Department of the Interior has invited Secretary Ken Salazar as the keynote speaker.  The conference will emphasize the Secretary’s high-priority performance goals for change across the Department in: 

  • Fostering a greater sense of stewardship in our youth for natural and cultural resources;  Secretary Salazar talking to students

  • Enabling the capacity to increase water conservation among our customers in the West; 

  • Increasing the potential for production and transmission of renewable energy resources on DOI managed lands;

  • Establishing a working multi-bureau approach for mitigating climate change on our lands;

  • Empowering Native communities; and

  • Protecting our treasured landscapes and the great outdoors.

      The 2010 DOI Conference on the Environment provides exhibitors numerous opportunities to network and showcase services, programs and tools that address important environmental and sustainability issues and solutions.

      Exhibit Booth Registration includes 1 conference registration, an 8' X 10' booth space with pipe and drape, a 6' table, 2 chairs, trash can, booth sign, and the list of conference attendees.
      An exhibiting organization may purchase 1 additional registration at a reduced rate.*

      Terms and Conditions for Additional Booth Personnel
      *Certain restrictions apply.  The second exhibit booth staffer will receive full access to the exhibit hall, opening night reception, continental breakfasts, breaks, conference materials, and proceedings.  Access to the plenary, technical, and training sessions will not be granted for the second exhibit booth staffer under this reduced rate.

      Only one (1) reduced exhibitor rate is allowed per exhibiting organization.  Additional booth personnel must register separately as a conference attendee.

        Please Note:  If you a government employee registration fees must be paid with a government purchase card, not a government travel card.  Please check with your Administrative Officer if you do not have a purchase card to determine proper procedure for paying your registration fee prior to beginning the online registration process.  You must have the purchase card number, expiration date, billing name, complete billing address and security code in order to complete the registration process.
