Randy Quate is a lifelong Quaker. Jesus Christ “spoke to his condition” in 1981, and he felt called to pastoral ministry a few years later. Randy has been senior pastor of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting in Trinity, NC, since 1990. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Ministry at Carolina Evangelical Divinity School in High Point. B. Welling Hall, Plowshares Professor of Peace Studies, joined the Earlham faculty in 1986. Dr. Hall teaches courses in Politics and Peace and Global Studies. As a policy adviser she has worked as a consulting scholar to the YMCA's Statesmanship Program and as a Congressional Fellow in Washington, D.C. Welling is a member of West Richmond Friends Meeting and serves on the Policy Committee of the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL).
