Grow Your Business Track: Conference-within-a-Conference

We are pleased to offer a special business development and marketing track, “Grow Your Business” within the conference. This track is designed for farmers who have made it through start-up and now want to strengthen their business for long-term sustainability. If you are assessing what parts of your business need more attention, whether to diversify, how to boost profitability or whether changes in management or marketing structure are needed, this track may be for you.

Participants who enroll in the GYB track will participate in two additional sessions during the conference: a special Grow Your Business Orientation on November 1 and a concluding session on November 3. By enrolling in the Grow Your Business track you will all be eligible for two hours of individual follow-up technical assistance professional services in the six months following the conference. The Grow Your Business Track and follow-up technical assistance is made possible through a grant from the Northeast Center for Risk Management Education grant. There is no extra charge for the GYB track.

To register, just indicate your interest when you register. You will receive additional information prior to the start of the conference. Space in the GYB track is limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, however, that to be eligible for post-conference technical assistance and reimbursement for professional services, GYB participants must meet the following requirements 1) attend the GYB orientation on Nov. 1 and wrap up session on Nov. 3 (or complete on-line equivalents of those two sessions), and attend at least two conference sessions eligible for GYB credit.
