  Antonio Benjamin is a Managing Director and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Citi Transaction Services (CTS) and Citi Enterprise Payments, two divisions of Citi.  Mr. Benjamin is also the Chairman of Citi’s Research, Development and Innovation Labs (RDIL) as well as a member of the CTS Management Committee. Prior to becoming Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Benjamin was a contract CTO for a significant client of Deloitte (Canada) where he provided engagement leadership, technology and business consulting services in the development of a customer loyalty program. Mr. Benjamin was a Partner at Ernst and Young, LLP where he held several positions including Chief of Strategy and Chief Technology Officer of Security and Technology Services.  After Ernst and Young, Mr. Benjamin was a Partner in charge of the Business and Technology Risk Management Group at Computer Sciences Corporation.   He was also the Chief Knowledge Officer and Director of Enterprise Security Services at Cambridge Technology Partners Management Labs.  He started his technology career as an engineer at Lotus Development Corporation. Mr. Benjamin founded the e-commerce company, GoodStorm.com, which was acquired by Zazzle.com, a Kleiner Perkins company.  At Zazzle, which is the leading on-demand retail platform for major brands, Mr. Benjamin was the Senior Vice President in charge of Business Development and the Brand President for GoodStorm at Zazzle, 

Jimmy Dinh

  Jimmy Dinh is a senior member of CIBC’s eChannels Strategy & Planning management team; which is responsible for leading and supporting CIBC’s channel vision, roadmap and long-term strategic priorities. In his current role, Mr. Dinh is directly responsible for establishing strategic direction, providing leadership and guidance to the business operations on all Mobile and Mobile Banking related initiatives at CIBC. Mr Dinh brings over 12 years of corporate strategy, product management and strategic business development experience within the intersecting ecosystems of mobile, online commerce and emerging payments. Previous to CIBC, he served as Director of Mobile Payments at MasterCard Inc. In this role, he led go-to-market product strategies and strategic partnership development in Canada focused on NFC and P2P payments. Mr. Dinh has also been extensively involved in developing mobile money transfer and service monetization solutions with mobile network operators in emerging and un-banked markets globally.

Jeff Easley

   Jeff Easley is Assistant Vice President, Deposits Product Management at USAA Federal Savings Bank, responsible for financial performance, account production and product development for the $32B portfolio of savings and CD products. Mr. Easley was instrumental in the successful launch of USAA’s remote deposit capture services including Deposit@HomeSM, Deposit@MobileSM and Easy Deposit at The UPS Store.  He was also responsible for the launch of the Money Manager suite of online and mobile financial management tools. He began his career at USAA in January 2002 and has held several program management and leadership positions. Prior to USAA Jeff was Principal Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the PeopleSoft practice.





Jacob Jegher

Senior Analyst

  Jacob Jegher is a Senior Analyst within Celent’s Banking Group. Mr. Jegher’s research focuses on emerging technologies and business strategies in retail and wholesale banking. He heads up Celent’s online banking research (consumer, small business, corporate cash management) and is a recognized thought leader in this space. His recent research has focused on next-generation online and mobile banking, personal financial management, social media, and financial technology startups. Mr. Jegher has provided strategic consulting on issues ranging from online channel strategy to vendor selection. Mr. Jegher manages Celent’s IT spending research and is the primary author of Celent’s global IT spending report.Mr. Jegher has been widely quoted in the press including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, the Associated Press, the Globe & Mail, and the Financial Post. He is an experienced speaker and has presented at numerous national conferences and corporate events, including the NACHA Payments and BAI Retail Delivery conferences. Before joining Celent, Mr. Jegher was an Analyst for BCE Emergis, where he was responsible for business strategy as well as market and competitive intelligence.

Joe Jordan is StellarOne Bank’s Director of eChannels & Payment Solutions. In his role, Jordan oversees the bank’s electronic and digital channels including:  retail and business online banking and bill pay products and services; mobile banking management and oversight; debit and credit card services; ATMs, and treasury management technologies.  He was most recently instrumental in creating the StellarOne Bank Mobile Banking platforms and led the StellarOne team in the implementation.  Jordan also has led numerous initiatives with the online and payment channels. He has been in the eBanking industry for over 12 years. 


Scott McCormack

  Scott McCormack serves as President of the company. Mr. McCormack brings 18-plus years of successful business development and financial industry experience to his role on the SmartyPig executive team. Mr. McCormack served as Senior Director at TMS – smartOne Prepaid Solutions, a longstanding icon in the prepaid payment industry, and Vice President of Debit/ATM products at First National Bank prior to joining SmartyPig. Mr. McCormack joined First National Bank in 1993, beginning his time in the credit card division, and later holding various executive positions in national consumer marketing and product and business development. He held responsibility for the debit and ATM business lines at First National Bank for 14 years, adding the smartOne Prepaid business unit in 2003.

Bob Meara

  Bob Meara is a Senior Analyst in Celent's Banking Group. Mr. Meara's research focuses on check processing with emphasis on branch capture, remote deposit capture, and deposit automation, as well as check conversion, image exchange, and image replacement document (IRD) solutions. Before joining Celent, Mr. Meara was the Director of Product Marketing at Alogent. In this role, he positioned and launched a series of Check 21 payments solutions. Prior to Alogent, Mr. Meara was a Senior Consultant at Stonebridge Technologies, where he developed e-marketing, CRM, and Internet branding strategies for clients. He has also held positions in marketing and brand management at Telemate.net Software, BellSouth, Hayes Corporation, and Procter & Gamble.

Bart Narter

  Bart Narter is the Senior Vice President of Celent's Banking Group and is based in the firm's San Francisco office. Mr. Narter's areas of expertise include technologies affecting retail financial services, with a particular emphasis on mobile banking, core banking systems, and service-oriented architecture. Mr. Narter has been widely quoted in the press, including The New York Times, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Dow Jones. He has consulted to top 100 international banks, as well as leaders in hardware, core banking software, and Internet banking software. Before joining Celent, Mr. Narter founded EnhanceRate, a technology services consulting firm for e-mail marketers. In the past, he has held senior management positions at various Silicon Valley technology companies, including Latitude Communications, Exactly!, and MBI. Previously, he was a consultant for Boston Consulting Group, where he conducted numerous case studies examining the financial services industry.

  Brian Pearce is Senior Vice President, Head of Retail Mobile Channel for Wells Fargo’s Internet Services Group. His team is responsible for the Wells Fargo retail mobile strategy and managing  Wells Fargo’s retail mobile presence, including wf.com, downloadable apps (iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Palm) and the Text Banking service (short code 93557 - WELLS). Over his nearly 20-year career in financial services, Mr. Pearce has garnered much success by leading a variety of business development, product and project management, business analysis and product operations functions. His career with Wells Fargo began in 2001 in the Investment Internet Services group and continued in Online Payments in 2005. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Pearce and his teams have led large, multi-channel efforts including P2P payments, InterFI Transfers, Transfer Scheduling, Bill Pay scalability, and the launch of the online brokerage platform. Prior to Wells Fargo, he worked for both industry leaders such as First Data Corporation and Andersen Consulting as well as Internet startups.

  Ginger Schmeltzer is a Senior Vice President in charge of Digital Channels at SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is responsible for strategy, product management, governance and website operations for the Online and Mobile channels for SunTrust, partnering with the lines of business to lead development and execution of LOB-specific and enterprise-wide initiatives in these channels. Prior to joining SunTrust, Ms. Schmeltzer spent over seven years as a Consultant and Manager in the San Francisco and Atlanta offices of payments strategy consulting firm Edgar, Dunn & Company. She served as the co-lead of the mobile financial services practice, delivering strategic planning and analysis for mobile services to clients including financial institutions, global payments associations, and technology suppliers to the payments industry.
