Self-Care for Caregivers Retreat/Workshop - Self-Compassion

South Pasadena, California

Why Self-Care?

While we may know that self-care is important, often deeply engrained ways of being in our lives and external demands undermine our efforts to extend to ourselves the same level of care and compassion that we offer others.

Emerging research indicates that mindful self-compassion promotes physical and psychological health, enhances resilience and relationships, and improves quality of life.

Guided experiential practices, along with teaching, group interaction and creative forms of personal reflection on personal and occupational application will be used to support increasing the emotional resilience and spiritual vitality you need to thrive in both your personal and professional life.

Course Objectives
