Craig Weber

Craig Weber is the Chief Executive Officer of Celent. He leads a team of associates spread across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
Craig has been a management consultant and analyst for over 23 years, with the majority of his experience coming from various positions within the insurance industry. He has advised dozens of insurers and vendors on IT and business strategies. He is a passionate advocate for sensibly creating business value through technology.
Celent has grown significantly since Craig became CEO in January 2012. In addition to maintaining the firm’s traditional coverage of IT and business strategies, he has added coverage of innovation and emerging technologies.
Craig is frequently featured as a speaker at industry events, addressing diverse topics such as core systems modernization, innovation, and creative disruption.    Hoshi joined Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation where he has developed his career in several fields; capital market, corporate planning, trust assets planning. Currently, he is responsible for trust product R&D. His achievement includes: Rights plan (2005), Japanese ESOP (2007), Japanese Depositary Receipt—JDR (2008), Japan Physical Gold ETF (2010), ETN-JDR (2011), ETF-JDR (2013) etc. Academic background: Hoshi is a graduate of Waseda University (Faculty of Political Science and Economics), past member of Corporate Value Study Group (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and associate at Harvard University (1999-2000). Hoshi is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.

Mr. Naoki Uno
Tokio Marine & Nichido Systems Co.,Ltd.
  Mr. Uno joined Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. in 1977 and has expanded his career in the IT division, business divisions including, corporate planning, sales strategies, as well as medical / operational management, and IT and business divisions at Tokio Marine Nichido Anshin Life Insurance Co., Ltd. Mr. Uno served as a Managing Director at Tokio Marine Holdings Inc. in charge of business process innovation, IT, operations and accounting divisions before he was appointed as the President of Tokio Marine & Nichido Systems Co., Ltd. in June 2013. In November 2014, Mr. Uno won the 1st CISO of the Year No.1 Award (Best CEO and Best Innovation Awards) by Japan CISO Association.

Neil Katkov, PhD.
Senior Vice President, Asia

  Dr. Neil Katkov, PhD, is the Senior Vice President of Celent's Global Asian Financial Services Group and is based in the firm's Tokyo office. His areas of expertise include the Asian financial services industry, financial services distribution channels, and compliance issues including anti-money laundering and business continuity planning.
Dr. Katkov produces Celent's popular reports on IT spending trends in the Asian banking, securities, and insurance industries. He regularly advises leading financial institutions and technology vendors on their business, technology, and compliance strategies.
Dr. Katkov is widely quoted in the press, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, BusinessWeek, Newsweek, Time, The Nihon Keizai Shimbun, South China Morning Post, Dow Jones Newswires, Associated Press, American Banker, Securities Industry News, and The Banker. He has appeared on CNBC, CNN, and TV Tokyo and is a popular speaker at conferences in North America, Asia, and Europe.
Before joining Celent, Dr. Katkov worked in the international division of Tokyo-based Softbank. In this capacity, he helped define the firm's business and marketing strategies. Previously, Dr. Katkov worked in the equity research department of Salomon Brothers Asia Limited. Dr. Katkov has lived for fifteen years in Tokyo and Taipei, where he engaged in research at the University of Tokyo and the National Central Library of Taiwan.

Eiichiro Yanagawa
Senior Analyst
  Eiichiro Yanagawa is a senior analyst with Celent's Asian Financial Services group and is based in the firm’s Tokyo office. His research focuses on IT strategy issues in the Japanese and Asian banking and financial industries. His recent research has included core banking systems, ATMs, anti-money laundering technology, electronic trading, document management, IT spending trends, and business process outsourcing. Eiichiro's consulting experience includes development of bank IT strategies, thin client / desktop virtualization to support business continuity, evaluation of data centers for hosting core systems, and vendor selection of AML, risk management, and other technologies. 
Prior to joining Celent, Eiichiro was the Chief Manager of the Financial Global Solutions Division and the Regional Bank Financial Solutions Division at NEC Corporation in Tokyo. He was responsible for developing NEC’s core banking system, strategic marketing planning, and consulting on financial institution systems.
Yuya Fukumori
Account Manager,
  Yuya Fukumori works in business development for Celent and is based in our Tokyo office.
He provides local support for Celent clients in Japan and identifies strategies and opportunities to expand client relationships. Prior to joining Celent, Mr. Fukumori worked as an Account Manager in the Sales and Marketing Division at Jiji Press Ltd., where he was responsible for sales of market data and news wiring services for financial institutions in Japan.
