Continuing Medical Education

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

Continuing Nursing Education
The Alaska Children's Alliance is partnering with the Alaska Nurses Association to offer continuing nursing education.  The Alaska Nurses Association (AaNA) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Contact hours will be awarded for participation in indicated activities.

Continuing Legal Education
The Alaska Bar Association has approved the entire week of this conference for a total of 30.75 CLE credits, including 1 Ethics credit for the Opening Keynote on Monday.

Alaska Police Standards Council Course Certification - The entire conference and post conferences have been approved by Alaska Police Standards Council for CEUs for Law Enforcement. Municipal officers wishing to attend this training please visit the following website:

Medical-Forensic Track - This Live activity, 2016 Alaska Conference on Child Maltreatment: Growing Safe & Healthy Children, with a beginning date of 11/14/2016, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 31.25 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    Cancellation Policy
    All requests for registration additions, changes and / or cancellations must be in writing via mail, fax or e-mail and received no later than Monday, October 31, 2016. All cancellations will be incur an administrative processing fee of $50.00. No refunds or credits will be made after Monday, October 31, 2016, however a substitute may be assigned with proper notice. Refunds will be processed after the conference. No refunds will be issued for those who register, but do not attend the conference.
