WQRF Benefit Golf Tournament

Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course

The Inn has recently completed a successful 24-month greens renovation project to its championship golf course. The new putting surfaces receive daily rave for turf quality and their new challenging enhancements. After 50 historic years, the golf course continues to be a favorite among San Diego golfers as well as travelers from around the world and plays host to both PGA and LPGA Tour events. It continues to provide golfers of all skill levels with a challenging and rewarding day on the course.

WQRF San Diego Bay Cruise

Wednesday, September 13
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Enjoy stunning bay views of the San Diego downtown skyline like you’ve never seen before. This 26 mile cruise offers a quintessential San Diego experience. The on board crew will narrate the rich history of the bay, local points of interest, city landmarks, facts about the military and California sea lions living off Point Loma.  Hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine will be served.
Transportation will be provided.

Carlsbad Desalination Plant Tour

Before the Conference kick-off, come see one of the largest Public-Private Partnership water projects in California. We will host a limited number of Leadership Conference attendees for a tour of the 50 million gallon-per-day/56,000-acre-feet-per-year desalination plant located adjacent to the Encina Power Station in nearby Carlsbad. Tour participants will see the facility and its operations, learn the history of the project, and hear about its 30-year water agreement with the San Diego County Water Authority to purchase 50 million gallons of desalinated seawater every day.
Transportation will be provided. 

USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Tour

8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
USS Midway 

Over the course of 47 years, the USS Midway aircraft carrier was the home of more than 200,000 Americans.  She is making her final tour of duty in San Diego to pay tribute to the contributions of the armed services and as a beacon of education and entertainment.  Join us for a 1 hour private docent lead tour.  After the tour, you will have free time to explore the USS Midway on your own.
