Intramural Competition

The 2018 Intramural Emory Global Health Case Competition will take place Saturday, February 3, 2018. Applications for the intramural competition will be accepted from November 6th - 27th, 2017. You will be notified within 24 hours that your application has been received. You will be notified by Friday, December 1, 2017 if you and/or your team has been accepted.

2018 Case Subjects and Evaluation

The 2018 intramural case subject will be released to student participants the morning of Saturday, January 27th, 2018 - one week before competition day. Student team members can seek feedback from experts in the field on ideas that they generate themselves. They cannot present and defend ideas that experts provide to them. You can access previous case subjects and learn about past case competitions here.

A distinguished panel of judges from multiple disciplines will evaluate the teams’ recommendations on the presentation day.

Tuesday, January 23, 6:30-8:30 pm Team Meet and Greet Dinner Event at Café Montage in the 1599 Clifton Road Building
Saturday, January 27, 2018, 12:00 pm Case Subject Released
Friday, February 2, 2018 Competition Work Day, School of Medicine
Saturday, February 3, 2018 Competition Day at the Rollins School of Public Health


The first-place team prize for the intramural competition will be $3,000. Second-place and third-place teams will also receive financial prizes as well as one non-finalist team.
