  Grant Andrew is Vice President of Strategic Transformation and Innovation, Allstate Life and Retirement and joined Allstate in August, 2016. His accountability includes leveraging customer insights, market intelligence and technology for an integrated digital experience to drive transformation and innovation across the life and retirement business. Grant works across the enterprise to drive strategies that enable continued integration of ALR within Allstate Personal Lines, as well as ensures continued alignment and integration of the life and retirement strategy as part of the transformation to the trusted advisor model. Before coming to Allstate, Grant served as Vice President, Financial Institutions and Wholesaling at Legal & General America where he was in charge of building and deepening relationships which led the firm’s sales and marketing programs specific to this channel. Prior to Legal & General America, Grant spent more than 20 years at Prudential Financial in a variety of executive roles, such as leading sales and new business development efforts related to the individual life insurance business, including the implementation of an industry-leading service platform. Grant earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Delaware and an MBA, with a concentration in marketing, from Rutgers University.

  Lori leads the Protection Experience for USAA's Financial Advice & Solutions Group. In that capacity, she leads the LIfe Insurance and Health distribution teams and is accountable to design the future state of the business, executing to financial targets and a new digitally-led experience.
     

Jackie Morales

  Jackie Morales joined Legal & General America in 2016, and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. She is a two-time graduate of Southern Methodist University, with an undergraduate degree in Humanities and an MBA with a specialty in Finance. Jackie is a director on the boards of Banner Life Insurance Company and William Penn Life Insurance Company of New York. Prior to joining LGA, Jackie was with AXA US, where she was first the Managing Director of the company’s annuity operation and then of their life insurance operation. In her more than 20 years' experience as a life insurance executive, she has focused on advancements in digital innovation, systems hardware and software design and upgrades, and has been a driver of the use of data analytics to improve the customer experience. She has worked for Americo Life, UICI, and Lincoln Financial Group.

  Colleen Risk is a Senior Analyst in Celent’s Insurance practice. She is based in North America and focuses on life insurance business architecture, new business acquisition and underwriting, and large transformation program change management. Colleen has diverse consulting experience including building and managing a business process outsourcing operation for a top reinsurer, commercializing a black box underwriting algorithm, performing end-to-end technology assessments, evaluating software for vendor selection, integrating and designing straight-through new business acquisition processing, and modernizing legacy policy administration systems. Colleen’s career began at PALLM, where she was a developer. She was also Chief Operations Officer at Vector Technologies, LLC and Vector Insurance Services. Prior to joining Celent, Colleen worked at Majesco Mastek and was also an independent consultant. 
     

Tom Scales

Tom Scales is a Research Director of Celent’s Americas Life and Health Insurance practice. His research and consulting focuses on industry innovation, operational best practices, and vendor technology. His particular passion is on how to best leverage technology to ensure the best customer and agent experience. He also leads a broad range of consulting projects, such as Deep Dive strategies for both insurers and vendors, and a variety of system selection projects. Tom led the operations and technology organizations for Transamerica, for their US Life insurance companies, including both agent and worksite sales. Tom is a regular presenter at industry conferences, such as LOMA’s Customer Service and LTC/DI conferences.
