2019General Assembly

Registration Deadline: April 29
General Campus Lodging Information
Listed below are the various options for lodging. Rates for Commissioners, Committee Representatives, OPC Staff, and Fraternal Delegates include room and board from dinner Wednesday through lunch Tuesday.  One set of linens and towels are provided per occupant*. You will need to bring personal toiletries, coat hangers, hair dryers, or other items as applicable to your needs. Sunscreen and hats are strongly advised.

For special medical or dietary needs, you may rent a personal refrigerator/microwave unit for your room for an additional fee. Please note, the dorm kitchen offers a microwave, but no refrigerators.  Should you need refrigeration for medical or other needs, you must rent one in advance; select this option on the Additional Items page when registering or contact the Registrar for details.  University of Texas Dallas has indicated to us that their dining hall handles special dietary needs very well.  Please note your special dietary needs when you register.

Campus Lodging with your Spouse or Spouse and up to One Child
If you are coming with your spouse, or your spouse and up to one child, you can indicate that when you register (note: your spouse does NOT have to register separately).  If you want to stay on campus, select a Family Suite. If you want a meal plan for your spouse or children, you can purchase it on the Additional Items page.  You can purchase any desired meal plans on the Additional Items page.  Note: the Private Suites only have three beds.

**Note for Family Housing**
UTD will not allow more than three people per suite.  They will not allow additional children to share a suite with their parents.  Families who require a room for more than three people will need to make their own housing reservations off-campus.  The Committee on Arrangements is not able to book off-campus rooms for you, but we have room blocks with negotiated discounted group rates at an off-campus hotel.  Please review carefully the Off Campus Lodging Information below.

Family Information:
If your children are coming, you can indicate that when you register, and purchase the appropriate number of meal plans on the Additional Items page.

Off-site Hotel Information:
If you desire to stay at a local hotel, there is a hotel that has rooms blocked off at a group rate--you will need to make your own reservations directly with the hotel. Note that hotels in this area fill up quickly, so book a room as soon as possible. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the campus.

NOTE: Commissioners, staff, and fraternal delegates can request reimbursement for off-site lodging up to $235 for the week.
