Afternoon Classes: 1 p.m - 4 p.m.

Kindergarten - 1st grade:  Science. Technology. Exercise. Art. Mindfulness. - Take a healthy bite out of a STEAM salad made with all of the best ingredients. Lettuce introduce you to coding with Ozobots and Beebots and take time to learn mindfulness practices.
2nd - 3rd grade:  The Best of Bugs - What if the right insects aren’t around to pollinate our plants? Research the life cycles of insects to learn more about pollination, design a hand pollinator of your own, and experience what it's like to be an agricultural engineer.
4th-  5th grade:  The EV3 Experience - Interested in LEGOs and how robotics shapes our world? Dive into the construction of an EV3 robot using LEGO Mindstorms, experience an introduction to coding, and then problem solve with a team to conquer challenges.
6th -  8th grade:  The Maker Games - Do you have what it takes to create a Roblox game? How about creating one for a virtual reality platform? Discover the challenges of virtual reality by experiencing the oculus rift platform through Roblox gameplay and creation.

June 24 -  28, 2019

Morning Classes: 9 a.m - 12 p.m.

Kindergarten - 1st grade:  Movin' and Groovin' - Invent a groovy monster trap, witness moving machinery, and investigate force and motion, all while movin' and groovin' to your favorite beats!
2nd - 3rd grade:  LEGO WeDo 4 U 2.0 – Build your own LEGO structures, explore the building blocks of coding, and then program your creation to interact with the real world.
4th - 5th grade:  Foodtastic! - Explore the study of botany, think like a Food Network star, and learn how to create your own healthy snacks.
6th - 8th grade:  Testing the Waters - Take a trip to the Marquette Wastewater Treatment Plant and observe the responsibilities of a water resource engineer. Analyze the problem of water scarcity and then utilize the Engineering Design Process to discover ways to safely reuse water.

Afternoon Classes:  1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Kindergarten - 1st grade:  Yuckology - Are you ready to think like a mad scientist? Join us as we explore fun science experiments such as invisible ink, oobleck, goo and many others. Play clothes are highly recommended for this study of gross, sticky, and slimy things!
2nd - 3rd grade:  Pocket-Bots - Discover the world of basic programming by illustrating color-coded paths which will command a pocket-sized robot.
4th - 5th grade:  Beginning Turtles & Toads* - Grab your swampers to head out to the woods and wetlands on a search for turtles, toads, and all amphibians and reptiles in between. Discover and identify critters using the scientific practice of catch and release while focusing on careful handling techniques.
6th - 8th grade:  3D Design Challenge - Learn the foundations of 3D printing and design, and then test your new expertise in a STEM-inspired design challenge.

July 8 - 12, 2019

Morning Classes: 9 a.m - 12 p.m.

Kindergarten - 1st grade:  Measure to the Treasure - Ahoy Mateys! Follow the map by measuring your way to the buried treasure.
2nd - 3rd grade:  Inside Out - From your head to your toes, explore the wondrous, weird, and amazing parts of the human body. Get ready to experience the science behind how our bodies use oxygen to help us breathe, how our bodies break down food and where it goes, and much more exciting and gross functions.
4th - 5th grade:  Psych Yourself Out - Are you introverted or extroverted? Do you have ESP? Which love language do you speak? Get psyched to learn about psychology in the real world and explore the power of the mind.
6th - 8th grade:  Science is Calling - How can we best shield a cell phone from being dropped and crushed? Answer this Call of Science by investigating how force works and prototype a unique, protective phone case.

Afternoon Classes:  1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Kindergarten - 1st grade:  LEGO WeDo 4 U 1.0 - Build your own LEGO structures, explore the building blocks of coding, and then program your creation to interact with the real world.
