The 2010 DOI Conference on the Environment has selected the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower as the host hotel for the conference.  The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower is the largest Green Seal Certified hotel on the West Coast.  The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Portland's downtown business and entertainment district. 


BOOK EARLY!  A government rate of $109 plus tax (single or double occupancy) has been negotiated.  This group rate is lower than the federal per diem rate of $120 and is available to attendees who wish to extend their stay, up to two days prior to the conference start date, and up to two days following the end of the conference, based on availability.

CHECK-IN POLICY
Check-in time begins at 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.  If you arrive prior to 4:00 p.m. the hotel will offer to store your luggage until your room is ready.  While you may certainly request an early check-in, the hotel does not guarantee this request.

Ground Transportation at the Portland International Airport
The pickup area for taxis, town cars, long-haul shuttles, hotel vans and parking lot shuttle buses is located in the center section of the airport terminal's lower roadway on the baggage claim and departure level. Airport shuttles, off-airport rental car shuttles and reserved vehicles are found in the section of the lower roadway closest to the garage. Most transportation providers serve downtown Portland, which is approximately 20 - 40 minutes from Portland International Airport.

  • Follow City Center signs to I-205 South; then to I-84 West
  • Follow City Center sign to the Morrison Bridge
  • Cross bridge, which puts you on Washington Street
  • Go straight up Washington Street 6 blocks, to Broadway
  • Turn left on Broadway, go 5 blocks
  • Hotel will be on the left—this is the back of the hotel
  • Turn left on Salmon Street, and left again on 6th Avenue
  • The main entrance of the hotel will be on the left
