In 2009 we extended this opportunity to graduating high school seniors, doubling the amount of awards granted from 15 to 30. The scholarships are offered for full-time undergraduate study at accredited four-year colleges and universities in the USA.

The Foundation also made special donations to the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund and the Survivors Fund to help the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks to rebuild their lives and communities.  In 2006, ESAF awarded a special Hurricane Katrina relief grant to Save the Children to assist the hundreds of thousands of displaced children.
