There are now Shared Sleeping Rooms available at Asilomar.  If you wish to attend the conference you must register as a Shared or a Commuter.  If you register as a Commuter you must secure your own housing.

Conference Lodging & Transporation

Lodging
Asilomar Housing: Lodging at Asilomar is peaceful and rustic, with buildings nestled along the shoreline forests and dunes.  Accommodations are truly dedicated to rest and reflection: therefore guest rooms are free of distractions such as telephones and televisions.  All lodging rooms have private baths.

Conference Registration Fees
The registration fee includes Asilomar housing, conference materials and conference meals.  The fee may be paid by credit card or check.

First-Time Presidents and CCA Presidents
(Arrival on Monday, July 23)

Private: $650 per conference participant (1 participant, 1 or more beds per room)*

Shared: $400 per conference participant (2 participants, 2 or more beds per room)

Conference meals are provided beginning with Monday lunch through Thursday lunch.

Commuter: $250 per conference participant (includes materials and conference meals)

Housing Details:
PRIVATE ROOMS
are for those attendees who wish to have a room to themselves or share it with others who are NOT conference attendees, such as family members.

SHARED ROOMS are for conference attendees ONLY.  If you wish to stay with someone other than a conference attendee (such as a family member) you must select and pay for a Private Room.

Returning Presidents
(Arrival on Tuesday, July 24)

Private: $450 per conference participant (1 participant, 1 or more beds per room)*

Shared: $275 per conference participant (2 participants, 2 or more beds per room)

Conference meals are provided beginning with Tuesday breakfast through Friday lunch.

Commuter: $250 per conference participant (includes materials and conference meals)

Housing Details:
PRIVATE ROOMS
are for those attendees who wish to have a room to themselves or share it with others who are NOT conference attendees, such as family members.

SHARED ROOMS are for conference attendees ONLY.  If you wish to stay with someone other than a conference attendee (such as a family member) you must select and pay for a Private Room.

*There are a limited number of Private Rooms available.

Non-Participant Sharing a Private Room:
Participants who wish to bring a non-participant (a non-conference attendee such as your spouse, son, daughter, etc.) to share a private room will be charged an additional fee for each non-participant.  For those arriving on Monday, July 23, the additional charge $180 per non-participant.  For those arriving on Tuesday, July 24, the additional charge is per non-participant is $140.  The additional charge entitles the non-participant to partake of all conference meals.

Please note, children under the age of three (3) years of age will NOT be charged.

Transportation

CTA will reimburse transportation costs for the chapter president or designee.  
Airfare reimbursement is based on the most economical coach roundtrip airfare based on a twenty-one (21) day advance purchase.  If traveling by automobile, mileage will be reimbursed at the rate of 55.5 cents per mile, not to exceed the cost of the most economical coach airfare. 

Reimbursement does not include the cost of any airport and hotel parking expenses or travel between home and the local airport unless the roundtrip distance between your home and the nearest airport is more than 100 miles.


All other transportation costs are the responsibility of the chapter.  If a second person from a chapter attends the conference, all transportation costs for the second person are the chapter’s responsibility.


Shuttle service will be provided to Asilomar Conference Grounds from the Monterey/Carmel Airport on Monday, July 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Shuttle service will be available to the Monterey/Carmel Airport on Thursday, July 26 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  If you are arriving outside of these times you must arrange for your own transportation.  A list of Monterey shuttles and cabs is found below.

-  Take the 21 Monterey-Salinas Bus to the Monterey Transit Center
-  Then board the 1X Asilomar-Lovers Point Express
-  Get off at stop E Asilomar & Silex
   (which is directly in front of Asilomar on Asilomar Blvd.)
