Rendezvous in the Rockies
The conference is based in Northern Colorado (north of the Denver metro area) in the Tri-City region of Loveland, Fort Collins and Greeley. The region is made up of two counties, Larimer and Weld.

Northern Colorado is home to two major universities, Colorado State University and University of Northern Colorado, and two excellent community colleges, Aims Community College and Front Range Community College.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Getting to Colorado by air is convenient with airports serving hundreds of international, national and charter passengers daily. Most major airlines fly in and out of Colorado. Denver International Airport (DEN) is less than one hour away. Shuttle arrangements are available for convenient transport from and to DIA. Super Shuttle is providing a discount rate for NAITC participants. You can access their website from the confirmation page of your regiistration. The Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport (FNL) is an FAA-certified general aviation and commercial services airport. Commercial air service is provided by Allegiant Air, with roundtrip service to Las Vegas and Phoenix-Mesa. The airport is less than 10 minutes from the Embassy Suites Loveland. The hotel will provide a free shuttle for conference registrants arriving at Fort Collins-Loveland Airport.

If your travel time is a bit more leisurely, Amtrak's California Zephyr might by your choice. The Zephyr stops in Denver on its route between Chicago, Illinois and Emeryville, California.

Embassy Suites Loveland provides free parking for hotel patrons.

Colorful Colorado
Once in Colorado you will be able to enjoy all that we offer.

Geographically, Northern Colorado consists of a scenic combination of the sweeping grasslands of the Great Plains on the east and the picturesque Rocky Mountains to the west. The region has temperate winters and relatively mild year-round climate with community elevations ranging from 5,280 feet in Denver to 4,600 feet in the grasslands. The mountains range as high as 14,440 feet above sea level. If you participate in the Estes Park, Trail Ridge Road tour you will be transported into Rocky Mountain National Park and travel above tree level to 12,183 feet en route to the Alpine Visitor Center.

Agriculture in Northern Colorado is diverse. Dry land crops bump up next to irrigated fields. An extensive irrigation system developed in the late 1800s provides water to our semi arid regions. There are fish farms, truck farms, natural Colorado wool farms, irrigated farms, dry land farms, livestock ranches, feedlots, cheese and meat processing plants, honey and bee farms, egg producers, poultry producers, dairy farms, goat farms, sod farms, dirt farms (literally) and more. Anheuser Busch Brewery is located north of Fort Collins, Coors-Molson is in Golden. Several growing and well received craft breweries call the area home. The greenhouse industry is an expanding presence. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) operations have taken off in the recent years. Farmer's Markets are a presence year round and often offer apples, peaches and apricots grown on the Western Slope (in the Palisade/Grand Junction area).

Our hotel is on the eastern side of Loveland, Colorado. The sweetheart city is a delight for outdoor recreation: golf, fishing, boating, hiking, biking and horseback riding. The city has an impressive public art collection that totals more than 200 pieces, many visible throughout the city. Bronze casting foundries that attract sculptors from around the world offer tours to visitors. Centerra Shopping Center and the Outlet Stores at Loveland are just minutes away. Fort Collins prides itself on its offerings of music and the arts with venues offering both local and national talent. The historic downtown area offers shopping, food and outdoor concerts in the Plaza.

Just 55 miles south of our location is Denver. Denver, of course, has eclectic dining, entertainment and shopping along with major league sports. June will have the Colorado Rockies playing on the diamond at Coors Field. The Colorado Rapids are attracting national and international soccer players and spectators.
