2012 National Human Exploitation And Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) Watch Conference


The 2012 National H.E.A.T. Watch Conference brings together the country's leading practitioners to share proven strategies for effectively responding to child sex trafficking in the United States.

Specialized Law enforcement sessions will provide cutting edge tools that aid in the recovery of child victims and the successful investigation, prosecution, and conviction of child traffickers. 
 
Multi-disciplinary sessions for domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST) practitioners will highlight strategic partnerships that address medical, mental health, housing, education and other critical needs of this very vulnerable population. Moreover, they will discuss how to greatly enhance the ongoing stabilization and healing of DMST, while reducing their continued risk of victimization and recidivism.
