Pick up curriculum materials and supplies and network during breakfast. Play Energy Bingo!

8:45 a.m. Welcome and Introduction to the Workshop

9:00 a.m. The Science of Energy
Explore the forms of energy and energy transformations. Thanks to Encana support, all participants receive a NEED Science of Energy Kit.

12:00 p.m. Lunch and the Energy Conservation at Home and School Web
This quick lesson allows participants to understand their home and school as a system and to better conserve energy resources.

12:45 p.m. Energy Round-Up
This activity introduces the nation’s leading energy sources and the facts and data about them.

1:15 p.m. Electric Connections
Explore how the nation’s energy sources contribute to the generation of electricity.

1:30 p.m. Energy Jeopardy
This activity is designed to review the major sources of energy, electricity, energy consumption and energy conservation.

2:30 p.m. All the Great Stuff!
The workshop wraps-up with evaluation, a post-survey of knowledge, and requesting your materials.

3:00 p.m. Adjourn
