Scientific Program Poster Session

With its 10-year, $100 million stem embryonic cell research grant program, Connecticut has emerged as a national and international leader in the field of stem cell research.

The StemCONN Scientific Program Poster Session provides scientists with a venue to share and discuss recent discoveries. Our 2011 Poster Session attracted 70 posters of the highest scientific quality. We expect the 2013 Session to continue to provide the basis for collaborations within Connecticut and beyond.

Who is invited to submit a poster?

Research scientists within and outside Connecticut are invited to come and present their latest, unpublished work during the StemCONN 2013 Poster Session.

Abstracts for posters will be accepted without cost; however, only registered StemCONN 2013 meeting attendees may present posters in the StemCONN 2013 Poster Session.

The first author is required to be present physically at the poster during the Scientific Program Poster Session April 3.

What should my poster include?

Stem cell biology is a diverse field. Contributions from a wide variety of researchers, clinicians, and others are welcome. Your poster should include unpublished data presented in a clear, concise, visually appealing format that can be understood by a diverse scientific audience. Besides the scientific abstract, we require a lay summary paragraph for the benefit of undergraduates, high school students/teachers, news reporters, legislators, and other non-scientists who may attend.

What size should my poster be?

All posters should be no larger than 42" (height) x38" (width).
