Registration Cost for Suppliers

The registration cost is $1,250.   This cost covers your meals and activities Tuesday night - Thursday night, except for one meal.    Wednesday night, we'd like the suppliers to invite planners to dinner in Rapid City.

You must be a CMCA member to attend.

You may bring a significant other, friend or spouse for $250.   Spaces are limited.   You may not bring another hotelier or city sales person to the show as a guest.   We are careful about the supplier to planner ratio and if sales people were attending as guests, it would affect our ratio.   We try to limit our ratio of suppliers to planners to 1.5 to 1.

Registration must be paid prior to the show.    Cancellations after April 15th won't receive a refund.

Registration Process

When you register for the show you will be put on a wait list in the order the registrations are received.  As planners register, suppliers are confirmed in the show in the order of the wait list.
 
You will receive a confirmation from Events@regonline.com that your registration is received.   Then as the show gets closer, you will receive a confirmation email from Jayne@christianmeeting.org indicating you are accepted in the show.   At that point, make your flight reservations.

When you register, the process will ask you for your flight information.   Just scroll to the bottom of the page and hit "continue" to finish your registration.   Once you are confirmed in the show, you can re-enter your record and add the airline information.

Tradeshow

Our tradeshow will be a reverse tradeshow which means that meeting planners will be seated at the tables.    You will be given their profiles.   You can visit with whomever you like.  We will not be making pre-appointments as we are an intimate show so you should be able to talk to who you want without one.      

Amenities in the Sleeping Rooms

It would be great if every supplier would participate in having a gift delivered to the sleeping rooms.  There is a delivery fee of $75.00 for amenity delivery.    This will either be added to your registration or you will be billed separately for it.

We will collect the amenities and put them in bags to be delivered to the rooms.   It is not required, but would be nice if you would bring enough gifts for everyone to receive one.   We are hoping for 150 planners and 150 suppliers to attend (total 300).

Hotels

You have your choice of three hotels.   Most of our time will be in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.   Transportation from the hotels to the Rushmore Plaza will be provided complimentary.

The Adoba and Alex Johnson hotels are in downtown Rapid City, about 5 blocks apart.   They are both nice hotels but very different from each other.   The third hotel is the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn.   It's sits next to the civic center but is currently under renovation.

All hotels are including a hot breakfast buffet with your room rate.    The Adoba and Alex Johnson  hotels also provide complimentary services such as self-parking, Wi-Fi,24 hour front desk, 24 hour fitness center, business center, USA Today, and airport transportation.   The Holiday Inn provides much of the above as well.

The room rate at all hotels is the same.   Rates apply 3 days prior and following the show.

Hotel Alex Johnson

Built in the Roaring Twenties by a railroader who had a flair for luxury and a deep appreciation of the Sioux Indian culture, the Hotel is a landmark of the downtown skyline. To make your room reservation, call 605-342-1210 and tell them you are with the CMCA 2014 Convention.    They will ask you if you are a planner or supplier.    The supplier rate is $139.00 per night  plus tax .   (Part of your rate is going to offset planner room costs so please don't book around the block).    If it's easier for you, you may also email your room request to Lynzie at LMontague@AlexJohnson.com.    Lynzie is the Director of Sales.

Adoba Hotel

Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn

The Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn offers so much for your attendees to see and do during their stay in the area; we are conveniently located next to the Civic Center and within easy walking distance to shopping, dining, museums and entertainment.

Closest Airport:    Rapid City, SD is the closest airport.   The airport code is RAP.

The airport is 12 miles from Rapid City.   It takes 10 - 15 minutes to get from the airport to the hotels.    The hotels provide complimentary airport transportation.
