Sonoma State University Lodging and Conference Arrival Information

Get Registered...Get Clustered!

In case you haven’t heard yet about ITC clustering, we wanted you to know about it! It’s emerged organically out of the integral community as people are making their plans to gather at Sonoma State University this summer.

The on-campus housing included in ITC registration is in suites of four bedrooms — each with its own bathroom — plus a living room, kitchen, and door to the outside. Each suite has two individual rooms with single beds and two rooms with two beds. All beds are twin beds. (Note that there are no double, queen, or king size beds.)

Design Your Mini Community and Meta-Cluster!

Attendees at ITC can design their own mini communities by identifying who they want to be clustered with in a suite. If you know other suites you want to meta-cluster with just let us know! Clusters are giving themselves names, which we heartily encourage. Who wouldn’t want to hang out with folks like the WE Space Crusaders or the Confederacy of Nondual Dunces? We want to know what it’s like to get facilitated by the Developmental Divas next door.

These are made up names and we're not divulging the real names now because we're going to have a contest and award a prize for the best name! We said that ITC 2015 would be as much a retreat with all your best friends as it is an academic and professional conference, and the community is making it happen!

At this point we’ve filled all the individual rooms, so if you haven’t registered yet you’ll be in a shared room. It’s a great idea to figure out who you want to room with before you register, and one way to do that is to go to our Integral Theory Conference Facebook Group to make plans with someone. If you register without specifying a roommate, that’s fine — you can go back into your registration later and add your roommate’s name. And if you don’t know who you want to room with, no worries — we’ll assign you a roommate of the same gender.

Clustering is generating so much excitement that some people who selected an individual room earlier are switching to a shared room so they can be in the cluster of their choice. Please direct all suite and meta-cluster requests to itc@metaintegralfoundation.org. Lisa Celentano and Laura Mateu will be handling your request.

Don’t miss out on this cool opportunity to create and be in integral community! If you’re not registered yet, don’t wait! You can’t get clustered if you’re not registered, and we’d love to see you at ITC!

For those attending or teaching pre- or post-conference workshops, additional packages for Wednesday night and/or Sunday night are available. The price includes all of the registration amenities: lodging, three meals, parking, use of the recreation center, and internet access. The cost for each additional night is $110.

If you do not wish to stay on campus, you may opt to decline the housing. (There is no change in registration price if you choose to stay elsewhere.)
