9:30 a.m. The Case Method in Action:  Understanding and Orchestrating the Flow of a Participant-Centered Classroom Session

10:30 a.m. Establishing and Shaping a Participant-Centered Learning Contract
10:45 a.m. Refreshment break
11:00 a.m. Questioning, Listening, and Responding: The Key Skill Requirements
Homework: Jo Worthington (A). An additional case, Jo Worthington (B), will be distributed in class.
12:30 p.m. Common Questions and Challenges
How to get students to prepare; how to do exams; course design
1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided
2:00 p.m. Anatomy of a Case Teaching Session

3:45 p.m. Practice Your Discussion Leadership Skills
Homework: Erik Peterson at Biometra (A), (B), and (C)
During this session, participants will form small groups. Each group will come up with opening questions for Erik Peterson at Biometra (A), (B), and (C).  Groups will also decide on discussion blocks for these case discussions as well as board plans.
