Friday Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1 . Identify the indications and applications for OB US and explain the difference between standard and limited exams
2 . Identify and adjust machine controls: power on, overall gain, TGC, focus, freeze 
3 . Demonstrate routine scan protocols for performing transabdominal & endovaginal GYN scanning and 1st trimester obstetric applications
4 . Explain sonographic criteria for diagnosing fetal life, number and presentation
5 . List the indications for performing an OBUS and describe the scoring system related to a biophysical assessment
6 . Explain sonographic criteria for diagnosis of placenta previa and abruption 
7 . Explain sonographic criteria useful in diagnosing cervical incompetence 
8 . Describe principles of fetal biometry: pregnancy dating and identification of proper anatomical planes for measurement
9 . Explain sonographic and hCG discriminatory criteria for distinguishing normal from abnormal first trimester findings
10 . Identify key markers of aneuploidy in fetal ultrasound

Saturday Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1 . Cite and perform transducer orientation during live scanning practice
2 . Demonstrate ability to perform a biophysical profile in OB ultrasound 
3 . Demonstrate the ability to perform an Amniotic Fluid Index (AFI) assessment in OB ultrasound 
4 . Acquire an appreciation for the complexity of sonographic fetal biometry and anatomy
