New approaches for accountability given today’s changing environment are critical for federal, state and local leaders in the intergovernmental audit community.

The 21st Biennial Forum includes an opening keynote by Gene L. Dodaro, Comptroller General of the United States, who will also present the David M. Walker Excellence in Government  Performance and Accountability Award to government audit professionals. 

Other special addresses are by:
  • Patricia K. Miller, Chair, International Internal Audit Standards Board; Partner, Deloitte (Retired); Founder, PKMiller Risk Consulting, LLC 
  • Nicole Galloway, Missouri State Auditor 

Speakers will address such topics as the following:

A Welcome Reception at Hotel Phillips is planned for those who wish to gather and network the evening before the 21st Biennial Forum commences.  The Main Reception will be held at the Barney Allis Plaza (outdoor venue) at the close of the first day of the Forum. Both receptions are convenient to the Kansas City Convention Center.
