Wednesday, September 20: General Sessions and Keynote, Awards Lunch, Host State Dinner
Thursday, September 21:  Networking Session, Technical Tour, Annual Banquet & Silent Auction

The 2017 Annual Meeting does not have a dress code. Please wear what you are comfortable wearing during your stay in West Virginia, including for the business meeting (inside the Marriott) and on the technical tour (outdoors).


Breaks will be held in the Exhibitor’s Area. Generally, there will be daily morning and afternoon breaks while meetings are in session. See the Program Agenda for specific times.

NASF Annual Meeting Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to Louann Gilmer no later than August 15, 2017. For individual cancellations, a $50 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Fore exhibitor/vendor cancellations, a $100 service fee will be deducted. No refunds will be given for no shows, requests made after the deadline, and requests not made in writing.

Silent Auction

Attention State Foresters, Sponsors and Exhibitors… Don’t forget the Silent Auction!

Take the opportunity to showcase your state’s finest “made in” products and help us give back to the community.

The National Association of State Foresters' Foundation (NASFF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 1983 by the members of the National Association of State Foresters to promote and advance state and private forestry in the United States. NASFF supports educational initiatives that foster leadership for current and future members of the state forestry community. Projects supported by the Foundation further the recognition of state forestry agency leadership in promoting healthy, well-managed forests.

How Can You Help?

Donate an item to be included in our silent auction during the week of our annual meeting. We ask that you drop an email to Jeremy Jones describing your intended silent auction donation, including a brief description of the item, name of the donor and approximate value of the item. You can bring your item with you or ship/mail the item ahead of time to:

We must receive shipped or mailed items before September 1, 2017.

The Silent Auction will be held in the Exhibitor’s Area and will end at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 21st. Winners will be posted at the evening dinner Thursday night. All items must be picked up and paid for by cash or check by 9:00 AM Friday. Thanks for your generous support of these important charities!

Hospitality Suite

Catch up with old friends and meet new ones in the Mountain View Room. The Hospitality Suite will be open 

  • Tuesday, September 19: 8-11pm

    Paying by Purchase Order? Allow enough time for us to send you an invoice upon receipt of the purchase order number and for you to get a check to us. Remember that the Purchase Order does not constitute payment but simply directs us to send you an invoice to have a check issued. Payment is not made until the check is received.
