Golf Outing  (details)

Canyon River Golf Club, designed by the internationally acclaimed firm of Schmidt Curley, is located east of Missoula just minutes from downtown. The 6900-yard par 72 course at Canyon River meanders through towering pines and native grasslands. Numerous lakes and riparian marshes located throughout the property come into play on 7 seven holes. From the beginning golfer to the avid player, the course will be an enjoyable experience for all.

Lewis & Clark Trail Adventure: White Water Rafting g  (details)

Lewis & Clark Trail Adventures: Whitewater Rafting

Sign up for a whitewater rafting trip through the amazing canyon section of the Clark Fork River called the Alberton Gorge. The 12-mile class III whitewater run makes a perfect trip and is the best summer whitewater in western Montana.  This will include a stop for lunch at one of Montana State Parks undeveloped parks.  Price includes: Guided Whitewater rafting, PFD, Paddle, Lunch On the River, Transportation to-from Missoula, Beverages for the ride back to Missoula.

            Warm weather Gorge trips:

Bitterroot Brews & History Tour  (details)

Bitterroot Brews & History Tour

Depart Missoula for a day of sightseeing through the Bitterroot Valley.  You will visit the Daly Mansion, a historic home of 19th Century American industrialist Marcus Daly.  It conveys the story of his rise from working-class immigrant to copper entrepreneur, as well as local, regional, and international history tied to his extended family.  The 46 acres was purchased by the state of Montana in 1986 and is operated by the Daly Mansion Preservation Trust, which was started in 1986 by citizens determined to save history.  Following the tour, you will visit Higherground Brewing Company to sample Montana’s local craft beers and lunch.  The day will continue onto Stevensville for an opportunity to visit St. Mary’s Mission and the Blacksmith Brewing Company.

Mountain Biking: Jumbo Saddle  (details)

Mountain Biking Jumbo Saddle (4 hours)

From Missoula’s downtown McCormick Park, we will warm up with a 6.3-mile ride through Missoula’s Riverfront Trail system to the Rattlesnake connector trails and climb to the Mount Jumbo Trail System.  Mount Jumbo offers some of Missoula’s greatest mountain biking with single and double track options offering challenges and choices for differing ability levels. It is the crown of the city of Missoula’s conservation lands program. We will split into two groups based on rider choice once on the Jumbo Saddle.

Option 1: Continue double track climbing the Jumbo Saddle Trail and descending The East Jumbo Trail and returning to Currents.  TERRAIN:  Easy to moderate; asphalt road riding and dirt double track.  16 miles 1500ft elevation gain

Option 2: Climb Sidewinder, descend, climb to Sound of Music, descend to trail head and returning to Currents.  TERRAIN: Moderate; asphalt road riding, double dirt track, and moderate single track.  18.1 total miles 1916ft elevation gain

What to bring:

All rental bikes will have flat pedals; please bring your own pedals and bike shoes if you would like to use a clipless system

Water bottle, extra layer, recommend a backpack for Jumbo Saddle, Bitterroot Trail. 

Lunch not included.

Bitterroot Trail Road Ride  (details)

Bitterroot Trail Road Ride (3 hours)

Construction was completed in the summer of 2016 on this 50-mile trail from Missoula to Hamilton nestled in the shadow of the Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains.  We will shuttle to Florence town center to ride the trail back into Missoula. A brief visit to Travelers Rest State Park a camping site of Lewis and Clark will round out this historic ride. 

TERRAIN: 20 miles 331 feet of climbing on primarily paved surface.

What to bring:

All rental bikes will have flat pedals; please bring your own pedals and bike shoes if you would like to use a clipless system

Water bottle, extra layer, recommend a backpack for Jumbo Saddle, Bitterroot Trail.
