Using Enterprise Architecture to Maintain “Customer Love”

Matthew Helm - Boneyard Creek Heritage, Inc.
Information leaders are constantly confronted with the need to employ adaptive and agile methods for meeting the needs of their business partners. This session presents a case for EA to be used to effectively meet the information challenges faced in today’s environment.  Matthew will cover how enterprise architecture can enhance leadership vision and provides a practical case study of the benefits and pitfalls of an institution that recently implemented an enterprise architecture program. Attendees will leave the session with ideas on how to use enterprise architecture to enhance their relationships with their business partners, provide motivation to their units to realize the institutional vision, and how to use other frameworks to bolster the success of enterprise architecture. If your goal is to keep the “love” of your business partners, you need to implement a holistic and proactive strategy for an ever-changing enterprise. EA just might be part of that solution.
