1.      Growing our Own: Nurturing Entrepreneurship

A majority of employed people in the United States work for or run small businesses. In this workshop, a panel of speakers will learn about small business resources available from regional economic development agencies and loans and other assistance available from state agencies.


2.      It Takes a Village (and Township and City) to Raise an Industry

Elected officials can’t create new business but they do have a role in attracting and supporting them. Speakers will talk about regional success stories and how marketing and zoning were tools.
