Director of Human Resources for the Schaeffler Group USA – a multi-national component supplier for the automotive and industrial sectors. Rita has twenty years of experience in Human Resources.  Awarded HR Professional of the Year for York County Large Employer - 2011 and HR Professional of the Year for Spartanburg County - 2005.  Ten plus years of volunteer work with SHRM and currently serving as the South Carolina SHRM State Director.  Previous board assignment includes: Chairperson of the Workforce Investment Board for the Upstate, President of the Spartanburg Human Resources Association, member of the Technical Scholars Steering Committee at Spartanburg Technical College, and Mayor’s Council on Serving Citizens with Disabilities.

Jim Kosmala
Okuma America Corporation

 
Jim Kosmala joined Okuma America Corporation in 2012 as Vice President of Engineering and Technology.  He is responsible for engineering, THINC®-OSP controls and new technologies for Okuma machine tool applications in North, Central and South America.

Prior to joining Okuma, Mr. Kosmala directed ABB Robotics’ Channel and Market Development team, covering the US, and led ABB’s southern US sales team.  Before joining ABB, he held various engineering, sales, and management positions at FANUC Robotics, having joined FANUC in 1992 and serving as General Manager from 2000 to 2009.

Prior to working at FANUC Robotics, Mr. Kosmala served as lead controls engineer for Saturn Corporation, a division of General Motors Corporation.

He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master’s in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.

Join Steve Howell as we discuss the process industry, the trends and expectations in business and technology there, and how Rockwell Automation is preparing for the future with our customers and partners.  Rockwell's premiere process control system, PlantPAx, will be covered in detail. We will discuss how an ever-evolving manufacturing environment -- from current technology, to regulatory considerations, to just the dollars-and-cents of manufacturing -- is shaping the way our customers keep production running at the highest rate of return on their net assets.  

Stephen Howell, Process Solutions Leader, Rockwell Automation:  Steve has worked in the Process industry for more than 30 years, and brings his business-centric and technical experience to bear in driving Rockwell Automation's success across a variety of industry verticals.  Steve has worked at Rockwell for 25 years, and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.



Troy Fletcher, Channel Sales Engineer, Rockwell Automation:  Troy joined Rockwell four years ago after 15 years managing ERP, production IT and corporate infrastructure for firms in the manufacturing industry and beyond.  Troy lives in Charlotte and covers the geographic territory serviced by McNaughton-McKay Electric, the local distributor for Rockwell / Allen-Bradley products and services.
