Education Opportunities:

Many quality education opportunities will abound at CMCA through general sessions, education sessions and the popular round table discussions.

Our featured speakers are:

Marie Monville

“When all other lights go out, He still shines!” This became the anthem to Marie's life when on October 2, 2006, her then husband made a decision to hold an Amish school house hostage, forever changing life as she knew it. This is Marie’s testimony, forged while moving through unthinkable circumstances, into the unfathomable love of the Father.

On her darkest day, Marie simply chose to believe that HE IS. This act of faith radically propelled her into a future she could not have hoped for or imagined.  Marie ministers the truth of God’s love: it is deep enough to heal any wound, strong enough to break all bondage, and it brings life to the broken and light to those in darkness.

By cultivating worship in the deepest places of her heart and releasing it before His throne, Marie has found the secret to being “transformed into His likeness with ever increasing glory” (2 Cor 3:18). She will inspire you to dive deep into a passionate, transformative love relationship with God.

Ian McCormack

Ian was a featured speaker in our Vail program.   Many asked for his return so he is joining us in Rapid City.

Ian was born in New Zealand and traveled the world surfing. He was stung by 5 box jellyfish in 1982 while night diving for lobster. He died and saw hell and then the Lord in His glorified form (Rev. 1:13 - 18) The Lord allowed him to come back after being dead for 15 - 20 minutes. He awoke in the morgue and walked out of the hospital the next day.

He has been sharing his testimony in over 60 nations the past 30 years. He's appeared on the 700 club a number of times and on TBN. His testimony was been translated into 40+ languages and is available in books and DVDs.

Ian is an ordained minister who is currently pastoring in a new church called Kings Gate in London, England. He is married with 3 children.

His website is

Wes Yoder

Raised on a dairy farm in the Amish and Mennonite community of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Wes Yoder moved to Nashville in 1973 to work in the music business. He was instrumental in the formation of the Contemporary Christian Music genre, and launched the careers of many well-known artists. In 1984, he formed the first Christian based speakers bureau to assist thinkers and writers dedicated to a biblical world-view. During this time, he became a founding member of Christ Presbyterian Academy, a thriving K-12 school where he served on the board for fifteen years.

In 1997, he launched Ambassador Literary Agency as a division of his company, which led to national media representation of many high-profile clients involved in national and international news stories. His projects have included national media representation of The Purpose Driven Life and The Shack, and literary and media representation of the # 1 New York Times best-seller, Mistaken Identity.

Wes has been interviewed on The TODAY Show, NBC Nightly News (a ten minute segment on his clients and the work of The Ambassador Agency), ABC’s Prime Time, Dateline NBC, CNN Headline News and others. He has been quoted by TIME Magazine, The New York Times, People Magazine, the Associated Press, Agence-France Presse and many others.

Wes’ first book, Bond of Brothers: Connecting with Other Men beyond Work, Weather and Sports (Zondervan), seeks to move men from silent and broken lives to the company of men where conversation, spiritual friendship and a life filled with friends and brothers define and complete God’s purposes for them.

D'Vine Favor:   The Davis Sisters

The Davis Sisters are a local gospel/contemporary singing group that consists of 5 sisters who grew up singing together with their family. The Davis sisters are all alumni of Rapid City Central High School, where they were actively involved in music, and various school activities. The Davis Sisters now use their musical talents to sing throughout their community and the nation. Some of their involvement includes weddings, community events, conventions, musical productions, and concerts.  Each member of the group also participates in the music ministry at their churches.

The Davis sisters have recorded 5 albums over the years with their most recent being their Christmas album “One More Christmas.” Their angelic harmonies, and enjoyment of a variety of musical styles allow them to share their music across every demographic. The sisters feel truly blessed to have been given their gift and one day hope to share it with the world!

Hattie Kaufman

Long time network news correspondent Hattie Kauffman is the author of "Falling Into Place",  described as the 'Glass Castle of Christian memoirs'.   It is the griping story of a Native American woman who thought she'd left her childhood ghosts behind until she is forced to face all that she's been running from and to finally rely on God.

Though she was raised in astonishing poverty, Ms. Kauffman reached the height of success as a television anchorwoman and news correspondent.  In two decades of reporting for first ABC and then CBS News, she covered many of the major news stories at the time, from the Oklahoma City bombing to the Michael Jackson trial.   A member of the Nez Perce tribe, Kauffman is the first Native American to ever report for a national network news broadcast.

Today, she is a frequent speaker and is busy at work on her second book.
