9th Annual Huntington's Disease Therapeutics Conference: A Forum for Drug Discovery & Development

Palm Springs, California
Monday, February 24, 2014

The conference program is currently being planned and will cover all aspects of drug discovery related to Huntington's disease. Sessions will include:

  • New Target Opportunities
  • Novel Therapeutic Approaches
  • Cells, Circuits and Systems
  • Huntingtin Lowering Biomarkers
  • Clinical Discovery: Paving the Road to Therapeutic Trials

If you choose to present a poster, you are required to select one of six categories that your poster best fits under. Formal poster presentations will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon. The afternoon will be divided up into two sessions, A and B. Each session will be devoted to several of the six poster categories and will last for an hour and a half. A panel of judges will be present and will select the top 3 posters. Those selected will give a brief, 10 minute podium presentation. On Wednesday evening there will be a cocktail reception with ballots available for poster voting (top 3). Prizes will be awarded, among those, a full ride to the HD Therapeutics Conference in 2015. The winners will be announced at the conclusion of the conference on Thursday afternoon.

Poster presenters will receive their formal presentation session (A or B), a slot number and instructions on how and where to hang their poster upon check-in at the registration desk.  All posters should be hung by Tuesday morning before the start of the first session.

The type of poster display board we will use is shown below.  The ideal poster size is 45 inches wide x 48 inches high (114.3 x 121.92 centimeters).

Abstracts are required for poster presentation.  Participants are permitted to submit multiple posters/abstracts.  A link to an abstract collection site is provided during the registration process and also in a confirmation e-mail received after successfully submitting a registration.  The deadline for abstract submission is January 10
