When is the 2017 Inclusion Conference?
Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.  Registration and payment is due by February 28, 2017.

What is the cost?
$50 per person; $25.00 for full-time students.

Will DOE support substitutes so I can attend? 

In order for DOE to support substitutes, prior approval is necessary through your districts special education office.  

Do I need to pre-register?

Yes, pre-registration is required.  Registration and payment must be completed by February 28, 2017.  Register Early, as space is limited.

Can I register a group?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to add additional group members in the registration process.  The total fees for all registrants in the group will be charged to the first person in the group.  If members of the group are paying individually (for example, with different credit cards), you must create separate registrations for each. 

What is the refund policy?
No refunds after February 28, 2017

What is the schedule?
The conference begins with registration check-in and a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and the workshops conclude at 3:15 p.m.  See Conference Details for more specific information regarding the timeline.

Can I receive CEU's?

Conference attendees may earn:
  • up to 4.5 professional growth hours with the Delaware Department of Education,
  • up to 4.5 hours from the Delaware Board of Regulation for Nursing,
  • up to 4.5 Delaware Office of Child Care Licensing Annual Training Hours
  • up to 4.5 hours from the Delaware Board of Physical Therapists
  • up to 4.5 hours from the Delaware Board of Speech/Language Pathologists
  • We have been approved for 4.25 Quality Assured Hours (QA) with Delaware's Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood (DIEEC) for the Keynote and Grisham-Brown's workshop. If you wish to receive QA hours, you must preregister online and pay for this conference. In addition, you must preregister with DIEEC by February 28, 2017 to assure approval for your QA hours.

Is lunch provided?
Yes, make your menu choice when registering.  If you have specific dietary needs, please notate it on your registration.  All requests must be received by February 28, 2017.

How do I request accessibility accommodations?

Are stipends available?
Parents:  A limited number of stipends are available for parents of children who receive free/reduced lunch.  Call 302-856-1081 for more information.

Child care providers:  A limited number of stipends are available for child care providers who are actively pursuing the Early Childhood Inclusion Credential.  Call 302-856-1081 for more information.

Can I mail in my registration?
Yes, individuals registering and paying personally can simply print out the 2017 Inclusion Conference document, complete the registration and mail it with their payment to the Inclusion Conference at the address listed below.

Can I pay by check or purchase order?
Yes.  Make checks payable to University of Delaware (EIN 51-6000297; State of Delaware Vendor ID #0000000033) and forward with your registration form(s) or a copy of your confirmation page(s) to:
