Weather

What will the weather be like at this time of year in St. Pete?
Average temperatures in late February can range from low to high 70s, with chilly evenings. We recommend that you bring some layers for the evening events and for the conference sessions, as temperatures may vary.

Dress Code
What is the dress code?

  • Welcome Reception- Business Casual
  • Conference Sessions- Business Casual
  • Monday ARCOS Awards- Business Casual BUT it is also a theme night! We will be doing a 1920’s themed awards ceremony and live music, complete with the flapper style and fedoras of the Gatsby era. Don’t worry if you don’t want to bring any fancy clothes – we will have plenty of props to deck you out in the 20’s style. This event will be indoors in the Grand Ballroom.
  • Tuesday Night- Casual, Theme: Bikers at the Beach

Guest Fees
How much are the guest fees this year?
In an effort to make it more fair to those that cannot attend all evening events as well as to accommodate for rising Food & Beverage costs, this year we are charging guest fees per event.

  • Welcome Reception: $35
  • Monday Night Awards: $60
  • Tuesday Night: $50

Please add your Guest Name on your Registration Profile. All guest fees will be invoiced on January 9, 2017. You may pay via check or credit card. Credit card payments will also be accepted onsite at the registration desk.

Deferred Payment
Can I register now and defer my payment to 2017?
Yes! We understand that registration for the conference may be on your 2017 budget. If you register now at the Early Bird Price (until November 1st) we can still honor the reduced pricing even if you pay in 2017. All credit cards for deferred payment will be charged in January 2017. 

Dietary Restrictions and Accessibility
Who do I talk to if I have specific dietary restrictions?
You can communicate dietary restrictions when you register, or add them to your profile after. You may also email Jenna Teeters at jteeters@arcos-inc.com for any dietary needs.

Is the hotel and conference ADA accessible?
Yes! ADA-compliant accessible rooms are available. The 5th floor conference rooms are accessible as well. If you have any specific questions about the accessibility of your hotel room or the resort, please contact the Loews Don Cesar at 800-282-1116.

How do I book my room?
You can book your room at the discounted rate HERE or call 1-800-282-1116 and mention the 2017 ARCOS Conference. If you are looking to extend your stay for the weekend after the conference, please call 1-800-282-1116 to book your room.  

Transportation
Which airport should I choose?
The Loews Don Cesar is located 25 minutes from the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, and 30-35 minutes from the Tampa International Airport. 

What kind of parking is available?
Self Parking will be offered at $10 per night. Valet Parking is also available. 

What are my transportation options to and from the airport?
There is no free shuttle to the hotel; however, we have secured the following discounts for transportation

What should I bring with me to the conference?
The ARCOS conference has gone mobile! This event is BYOD (Bring your own device). Download the conference app on your smart phone, tablet or laptop to have access to the agenda, presentations, attendees and more!

Registration Desk Hours
When can I check in and get my registration packet?
Registration Desk Hours are as follows:
  • Sunday, February 26: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Monday, February 27: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Conference App
When will the conference app be available?
We typically release the conference app about 1.5-2 weeks before the conference. An exact date will be chosen closer to the event.

How do I download the conference app?
The 2017 User Conference App will be available through Apple iTunes, Google Play and also HTML. Download instructions will be sent out on the day of the app release (usually 1.5 weeks before the conference), as well as communicated onsite at registration.

Will there be app support onsite?
Yes- ARCOS Staff will be there to assist onsite with any app questions.
