TRAVEL INFORMATION
*Please pay attention to the instructions below on how to travel between the University of Oregon campus, where all classes will occur and the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, where all Adjudication and Gala Concerts will occur. This does require a bit of travel between downtown Eugene and the campus.

     By Air
The Eugene Airport, conveniently located approximately ten miles from downtown and campus, is serviced by Alaska Airlines, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, United Airlines, and flights connecting from any number of major airlines. Some visitors choose to fly into Portland and drive two hours south to Eugene. For Eugene Airport information, call 541-682-5544 or visit the website for the Eugene Airport.

     By Train and Bus

Amtrak: 800-872-7245
Greyhound-Trailways, Eugene: 541-344-6265
Lane Transit District (Eugene's bus system): 541-687-5555

There is a downtown Amtrak stop (433 Willamette Street) in Eugene approximately 1.6 miles from the UO campus. If flying into Portland, Amtrak is a viable option for the two hour commute South to Eugene. Upon arrival in Eugene, it is about a 6 block walk South on Willamette Street to 10th Avenue to catch the EmX, the most direct bus between downtown and the UO campus. Riders pre-pay for the EmX by purchasing a ticket at station kiosks.

Transportation between the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and Classes :

All classes, presentations, feedback sessions and workshops will take place on the UO campus between four buildings 1. Gerlinger Annex 2. Gerlinger Hall 3. The Recreation Center 4. The Frohenmayer Music Building. Open a campus map.
As you look at the campus map important landmarks are the Pioneer Cemetary, the Schnitzer Museum, and Kincaid Street. Gerlinger Annex (the dance building) rests between the Knight Library and Gerlinger. Yes, there are two buildings named Gerlinger, the Annex and the Hall. The third floor of Gerlinger Annex houses the Department of Dance.

Adjudication and Gala Concerts all take place in downtown Eugene at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in the Soreng Theatre. hultcenter.org. It is approximately an 8 minute/2 mile drive from the UO campus to the Hult Center.
The Hult Center is located at One Eugene Center, Eugene OR 97401 which takes up the block between 6th and 7th Avenues and Olive and Willamette Street. Main lobby entrances are off 6th and 7th Avenues, with the ADA accessible ramp on the 6th Avenue side. Visit:  http://www.hultcenter.org/visitors/directions-parking.htm
When traveling for your tech rehearsal for adjudication concerts, provide yourself 30 minutes to travel and get situated into your dressing room space prior to your call time.

The EmX bus line leaves campus every 10 minutes from 11th Avenue and Kincaid Street (refer to the campus map) and  provides a very direct route to the downtown station on 10th and Willamette Street. The Hult Center is only three blocks North of the downtown station at 7th Avenue and Willamette Street.
