Magazine, Zingerman’s is nationally known for serving full flavored, traditionally made food and providing exceptional service –and for sharing its expertise with outside clients through seminars and personalized training.  Maggie founded ZingTrain in 1994 and developed Zingerman’s Bottom-Line Training® approach.  Started in Maggie’s attic, ZingTrain now has its own training space, a staff of 13 and sales of more than $2 million/year.
  • Petra Marquart, President of Petra Marquart and Associates
Petra Marquart is an inspirational speaker who has received rave reviews at international conferences, conventions and meetings around the globe.
She is principal in the global speaking and training firm, Petra Marquart and Associates. She has a degree in communications; is listed in Who’s Who of American Women; and is the author of the best seller, The Power of Service: Keeping Customers for Life.
In addition, she has written customer service training programs for Mall of America, US Bank, US Department of Veterans Affairs, Honeywell Space Systems, Fairview University Health System, Casinos America, Target Center Arena, US Department of Homeland Security, Canadian Rail System/Soo Line Railroad, Metro Dentalcare, Minnesota Department of Administration and Wisconsin Department of Child Protective Services.

  • Albert Samuelian, Managing Director at OMD West and Strategy
Al is a senior level marketing professional with over 20 years of experience leading high-profile businesses and developing global, multi-channel communication strategy and solutions.   In his current role at OMD as Managing Director West and Strategy, he oversees several pieces of business and also helps lead strategic planning for OMD West.  He is a member of OMD’s Light leadership team focusing on driving better creativity and performance, and also is the west coast Vision Champion for OMD’s strategic operating framework and philosophy.  In 2014, Al was named the Ad Relief Lifesaver Honoree.  Outside of work, he enjoys watching his kids compete in soccer and surfing throughout Southern California, traveling to the Hawaiian Islands every year, playing golf, and a good cup of Kona coffee. 
  • Edward Arias, Special Agent with the FBI and member of the Cyber Crime Squad in Honolulu.  
Special Agent (SA) Edward A. Arias joined the FBI in 1996.  His first office of assignment was the New York Field Office.  SA Arias was assigned to one of the first Computer Intrusion Squads in the FBI.  In 2000 SA Arias was certified as a computer forensic examiner under the Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) program.  In 2002 SA Arias was promoted and transferred to the Cyber Specialized Training Unit (STU) at FBI Headquarters.  He served as a Cyber Crime Instructor at the FBI Academy, Quantico Virginia.  In 2004, SA Arias was transfer to the Computer Intrusion Unit, FBIHQ and served as a program manager running Cyber cases in the field.
On January 2006, SA Arias was transferred to the Honolulu Division, Hawaii where he was assigned to the Cyber Crime Squad in the Honolulu Division.   He is currently the InfraGard Coordinator in the Honolulu Field Office, a Certified FBI Co-pilot and a CART Examiner in training.

  • Matt Freeman, Sr. Manager, IP & Managed Services, Hawaiian Telcom

Matt Freeman manages Hawaiian Telcom’s Managed Security Services team. A graduate of the University of Hawaii, Matt has over 17 years of experience developing and implementing IT solutions for businesses in Hawaii, including LavaNet and Integration Technologies. He is currently focused on creating customized security solutions for Hawaii’s businesses. 

  • Drew Nagai, CPCU, ALCM, APA Assistant Vice President Sales & Marketing Risk & Safety Management, First Insurance Company of Hawaii.   
Achieved the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Loss Control Management, and Associate in Premium Audit designations from the American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America.  He has over 25 years of insurance experience working in Claims, with the bulk of his time in Risk Management for Island Insurance, HIH Insurance, Fireman’s Fund, and First Insurance Co. of Hawaii.
  • Kent H. Kasaoka, CPA, CGMA, Director, Accounting & Tax Solutions (AATS)
Kent Kasaoka is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Distinction in Accounting. He is a Director at AATS LLC and is primarily responsible for managing its tax and accounting client engagements. Prior to AATS, Kent was with Sterling & Tucker, Inc., CW Associates, CPAs, Detor & Williams, CPAs, Wachi & Watanabe, CPA, Inc., and Grant Thornton LLP.

Kent currently serves as Treasurer of the Hawaii Public Health Institute, as well as the Board Chairperson of the Young Business Council. Kent is also active with the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants and has been licensed as a CPA by the State of Hawaii since 2002. About AATS LLC: AATS was established in 2007 as an affiliate company to KMH LLP ("KMH"), a local CPA firm. AATS was formed to assume the accounting outsourcing and individual and small business tax compliance services from KMH.
