Is there a paper registration form available?
No.  All registration is done online through the RegOnline Website. Click on the "Register Now" to begin the registration process. 

How much does registration cost for the NC EMS Expo 2018?
    • Group Rate registration (7/16/2018 thru 8/16/2018)  
        • Groups of 6-10 will be $110.00 per person Save up to $40.00

Can I register more than one person or a group? 
Yes. You can register multiple people or a group during the online registration process.  Send Debra Nichols an email to get your group rate code,  The primary registrant is  responsible for all payment associated with the individual's or group's balances due.  Any balances due must be paid in full before/or at the Expo, in order to receive any continuing education credits.  

Can substitutions be made within a group registration?  
YesThe primary registrant has the ability to make any substitution to his/her group through the online registration process prior to September 24, 2018, 12:00 a.m.  After this date, all substitution requests must be directed to  All other requests for substitutions will be made on site at Registration Desk VI.

Do I need to confirm my attendance for the conference banquet? 
Yes.  During your online registration, there is an area with a drop down menu for you to choose your banquet preferences  Should you choose "no" in the pre-registration process, you will have until Monday, October 1st, 4:00 pm to change your Banquet choice. Name badges will be required for entry to the banquet. 

Is my hotel lodging cost covered in the conference registration fee? 
No. Conference participants must make their own lodging arrangements for NC EMS Expo 2018. The room rate for the conference is $168.00 (includes all taxes). Please click on the "Hotel Information" tab for additional information.

Can I purchase an additional meal for the banquet on Tuesday night? 
Yes. Additional meals can be purchased during the online registration process and at the conference registration desk before Monday, October 1st, 4:00 p.m. The cost will be $60.00 per ticket.

Can I cancel my conference registration?
Yes. To request a cancellation refund, please submit a written request to the Registration Coordinator, Debra A. Nichols at  All refund requests must be submitted by September 24, 2018 by 5:00 p.m.  Refund requests submitted after 5:00 p.m. September 24, 2018 may not be honored.  Please note, cancellation of your conference registration does not cancel your hotel reservation.  To cancel your hotel reservation, you will need to contact the Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons directly.

What presentations are considered Professional Development? 
This year all presentations are considered Professional Development however, it is up to each EMS Agency or Institution to determine whether they will accept these or not.

When is the Paramedic Competition?
The Paramedic Competition is Sunday, September 30, 2018, beginning at 12:30 p.m. in ballrooms Guilford F and G.  The competition will continue until all teams have completed their competition.  Doors will open at noon.

Will there be an exhibit hall at this year's conference? 
Yes.  The Exhibit Hall will be open to the public during the Exhibit Hall Preview on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with no badge required. Beginning on Monday, October 1st through Tuesday, October 2nd, entry into the Exhibit Hall will be limited to registered Expo participants.  Expo badges are required for entry into the Exhibit Hall.  The Exhibit Hall will be open Monday, October 1st, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, October 2nd, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Is smoking allowed at the Sheraton Four Seasons Hotel? 

No. The Sheraton Four Seasons is entirely smoke free.  This includes hotel rooms, bars, restaurants and all general areas. For further information see the Hotel Smoking Policy.


How do I pay for the conferences?
We will accept the following methods of payment online or at the conference registration desk.

  • Visa or MasterCard (No AMEX or Discover)
  • Agency/Organization/Company Checks or Money Order
  • No personal checks or cash will be accepted

When does payment need to be received? 
You can pay online with a credit card during the online registration process.  All check payments should be postmarked no later than September 20, 2018 to ensure they arrive prior to the conference.

Can I pay with an Agency/Organization/Company check or money order on-site? 
Yes. Company Checks, Money Orders and Credit Card payments can be made on-site.  NO Personal checks or Cash will be accepted.  However, please be advised that your balance due must be paid before you will receive Continuing Education credits.  No exceptions will be made.

Will NC EMS Expo 2018 offer continuing education units/credits?  
Yes. All Expo participants will have the opportunity to attend Expo presentations and will have their badge scanned at the end of each presentation.  Within 30 days of the conclusion of the Expo, participants will receive an email detailing each presentation attended and the corresponding number of CEU hours received.  Presentations will be assigned a credit value based on the presentation's duration (i.e. one hour sessions = 1 CEU, 1 hour 15 minute sessions = 1.25 CEU).  Please note that the Agency/Organization/Company that you are employed by will be responsible for determining if the CEU's received at NC EMS Expo are acceptable as continuing education credits towards your current certification/license.  The OEMS is not a determining entity in this matter. 

All Expo balances due must be paid in full before any CEU's will be issued.

  • Payment Information
    Payment can be made online using Visa or MasterCard. On-site payments will be accepted, but are strongly discouraged. Payment is accepted by Agency/Organization/Company check or money order only and no personal checks or cash will be accepted.

    Payments by Mail
    Payments by Agency/Organization/Company check should submit a copy of the registration form when mailing it to NCOEMS, registration is not considered complete until payment is received.  Name badge and conference materials will not be distributed to the Primary Registrant until outstanding balances are paid in full.
