Registration: general registration is $999USD; consumers, developing countries & students/residents $749USD plus a 6% fee.

Onsite registration at the Keystone Convention Center will begin on Monday Oct 18 at 7:30 am.

Daily registration rates: $200/day discounted registration for consumers, developing nation representatives, students, registered satellite meeting attendees, and University of Colorado affiliates and $300/day for regular registrants. AWARDS:

Annual Campbell Collaboration Awards

The Frederick Mosteller Award for Distinctive Contributions to Systematic Reviews is named in honor of Charles Frederick Mosteller (1916-2006), who was the Roger I. Lee Professor of Mathematical Statistics at Harvard University.

The Robert Boruch Award for Evidence-Based Research in Public Policy is named in honor of Dr. Robert F. Boruch. He was amond the earliest and most vocal proponents for the increased use of randomized experiments to inform public policy decision making.

The Leonard E. Gibbs Award. The Social Welfare Coordinating Group (SWCG) Editorial Board has created an awards program to encourage production of rigorous systematic reviews that can inform social welfare policy and practice. The first of these awards is named in honor of Leonard E. Gibbs, one of the leaders of the Evidence-Based Practice movement who passed away in 2008.

Annual Cochrane Collaboration Prizes & Awards


The Thomas C Chalmers Award is awarded at each Cochrane Colloquium for the principal author of the best oral or poster presentation addressing methodological issues related to systematic reviews. In 2005, the panel agreed that the Award should in the future be given for both the best oral and the best poster presentation.

The Kenneth Warren Prize is awarded at each Cochrane Colloquium to the principal author of whichever Cochrane systematic review authored by a national living in a developing country is judged to be both of high methodological quality and relevant to health problems in developing countries.

The Chris Silagy Prize is awarded at each Cochrane Colloquium to an individual who has made "an extraordinary contribution to the work of The Cochrane Collaboration".

The Bill Silverman Prize is awarded at each Cochrane Colloquium to acknowledge explicitly the value of criticism of The Cochrane Collaboration, with a view to helping to improve its work, and thus achieve its aim of helping people make well-informed decisions about health care by providing the best possible evidence on the effects of healthcare interventions.
