Lanyon. and our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Lanyon” or “we”) respect your preferences concerning the treatment of personal information that we may collect from your use of RegOnline located at www.regonline.com (“RegOnline”). This statement lets you know how we collect and use your personal information, and how you can control its use. This policy describes the broadest potential use of personal information while on www.regonline.com and in services that we provide when RegOnline powers and provides services that is consistent with the terms of this statement; however, we may make far less use of your personal information.
Our Use of Your Personally Identifiable Information.
We only use the personally identifiable information which is provided by you through our Web sites to help us improve our services to you, to provide you with the information you have requested, to respond to your questions, and for other internal purposes. We do not sell your personal information.
RegOnline, including what type of information is gathered on the Web site, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared. In addition, we explain how Lanyon’s RegOnline services for clients in “Customer Information and Services Data Privacy” below.
Customer Information and Services Data Privacy
Lanyon operates globally and has hosting centers that may store and process your data in various locations in the United States. Please be assured that Lanyon takes reasonable precautions to protect personal data in these centers and in other locations in the United States from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Personally Identifiable Information That We Collect at our Web Site
In general, you can visit our Web site without identifying yourself or revealing any personally identifiable information. There are times, however, that you may choose to give us personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and other information about yourself or your company. For example, if you would like to register for our services, receive information about RegOnLine, schedule a demo, use our forums or blogs, and schedule events you will need to provide us with some information about you and/or you business including but not limited to your name, address, phone, email, fax number.
If you sign up for our e-mail updates, you will need to provide us with your e-mail address when applicable. If you choose to unsubscribe from promotional emails, please click unsubscribe in any promotional email message. We also provide you with the opportunity to e-mail us questions or comments about this Web site and our Company at email@example.com.
Surveys RegOnline provides functionality which offers you the opportunity to participate in surveys on one of our sites. If you participate, you may be requested to provide certain personally identifiable information (such as demographic information, e-mail, phone, and address) from you. Participation in these surveys are completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. All survey results are provided directly to our client and we have no direct access to this information.
Invitations If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about one of our sites, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit a site with a link to that site. Lanyon does not store this information. The information collected is for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email to visit one of our sites.
Forums If you use a forum on one of our sites, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums.
Testimonials From time to time we receive and post testimonials from our valued customers on one of our sites. We receive permission to post these testimonials prior to posting to a site. If you would like your testimonial removed, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Communications from the Site
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will communicate with you in response to your inquiries and in order to provide the services you request, confirm transactions and registrations and to manage your account and/or services. You will not be able to unsubscribe from a transactional email. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.
Lanyon will use the clients e-mail address provided to send secondary communications such as a newsletter or new product/services information. You may “opt-out” of these secondary communications by following the unsubscribe instructions on the newsletter or other promotional e-mail. To “opt-out” of products, programs, services, or offers from Lanyon or our trusted partners, please contact email@example.com.
Third Party Access to Your Personally Identifiable Information
We will only share the personally identifiable information you provide online with other service providers (such as marketing partners) for the uses described in this Privacy Statement. Our service providers are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for their own promotional purposes.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web sites. All Lanyon entities having access to your personally identifiable information are subject to this privacy statement with respect to the use of your personally identifiable information.
In the event Lanyon goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email or prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

Technologies on the Web Site
As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
We do not link this automatically collected data to personally identifiable information. We use a third-party tracking service that uses tracking technologies to track non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site in the aggregate in order to capture usage and volume statistics. We use this information to improve our Web site and services.
We use local shared objects, also known as Flash cookies, to store your preferences or display content based upon what you view on our site to personalize your visit.
