Description

The ​OpenDaylight ​Summit ​is ​designed ​to ​provide ​a ​collaboration ​and ​education ​space ​for ​innovators, ​developers, ​and ​users ​in ​the ​Software-Defined ​Networking ​(SDN) ​and ​Network ​Functions ​Virtualization ​(NFV) ​space. ​ ​The ​OpenDaylight ​Summit ​brings ​together ​the ​community, ​projects, ​products, ​and ​companies ​in ​the ​networking ​industry ​that ​are ​driving ​the ​SDN ​and ​NFV ​ecosystems ​today, ​along ​with ​best ​practices ​from ​the ​world ​of ​traditional ​open ​source.

Standard ​Registration ​Fee: ​US$800 ​(valid ​from ​June ​20 ​- ​September ​9, ​2016)

Late/On-site ​Registration ​Fee: ​ ​US$950 ​(valid ​from ​September ​10 ​- ​Event)

Student ​Registration ​Fee: ​ ​We ​are ​offering ​a ​limited ​number ​of ​complimentary ​student ​registrations. ​You ​will ​be ​asked ​to ​show ​proof ​of ​student ​status ​upon ​check-in ​at ​the ​event ​as ​a ​student ​attendee. ​ ​If ​you ​are ​unable ​to ​provide ​proof ​of ​student ​status ​on-site ​you ​will ​be ​charged ​the ​On-Site ​Registration ​Fee ​of ​US$950.

Carbon ​Developer ​Design ​Forum ​- ​Wednesday, ​September ​28 ​& ​Thursday, ​September ​29

Registration ​to ​the ​Summit ​(main ​conference) ​is ​required ​in ​order ​to ​attend ​the ​Carbon ​Developer ​Design ​Forum. ​There ​is ​no ​additional ​fee ​required ​to ​attend ​the ​Forum ​and ​it ​is ​open ​to ​all ​in ​the ​technical/developer ​community. ​To ​ensure ​that ​only ​technical ​attendees ​register, ​we ​require ​a ​Gerrit ​“Change ​Number” ​from ​the ​OpenDaylight ​Boron ​release ​(this ​is ​a ​5-digit ​number ​in ​the ​upper ​left ​corner ​of ​the ​Gerrit ​Change-Screen ​for ​your ​submission) ​OR ​a ​brief ​description ​of ​why ​you'd ​like ​to ​attend. ​If ​you ​do ​not ​have ​a ​Gerrit ​“Change ​Number” ​please ​allow ​up ​to ​two ​weeks ​for ​confirmed ​approval ​of ​your ​attendance. ​

The ​Developer ​Design ​Forum ​is ​the ​largest ​gathering ​of ​OpenDaylight ​developers ​from ​around ​the ​globe ​each ​year. ​The ​Developer ​Design ​Forum ​allows ​the ​developer ​community ​to ​come ​together ​to ​discuss ​designs ​and ​plans ​for ​the ​upcoming ​OpenDaylight ​release ​which ​will ​be ​“Carbon”.

Tutorials ​- ​Monday, ​September ​26

The ​OpenDaylight ​Tutorials ​are ​hands-on ​deep ​dive ​sessions ​taking ​place ​over ​the ​course ​of ​a ​full ​day. ​The ​cost ​for ​the ​full ​day ​is ​US$200. ​Additional ​details ​will ​be ​provided ​when ​the ​schedule ​is ​published.
