Thank you for your interest in American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Training!
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) provider course is designed to train healthcare professionals in managing patients with acute cardiac illnesses using the most current methods available. Information will be reviewed and practice time will be made available to enhance proficiency in the following modalities:
- Adjuncts for management of airway control and ventilation
- Dysrhythmia recognition and cardiac monitoring
- Synchronized cardioversion and defibrillation
- Pharmacology for PALS
- Management of bradycardic and tachycardic patients
Course Completion Requirements: To receive a course completion card the student must • attend and participate in the entire course • demonstrate proficiency in CPR skills • pass required skills tests • pass required written tests. This is a one-day course.
