Nonprofit Advocacy, Public Policy and Community Engagement

Regis University | Denver CO

Colorado has a strong nonprofit community because foundations and nonprofits work as partners to strengthen communities. Together, we also form effective community networks that can influence change in policies that benefit the people we serve and support a flourishing operating environment for nonprofits and philanthropy.
On August 2, the Colorado Association of Funders, Community Resource Center and Colorado Nonprofit Association will present the C(3) Forum: An In-Depth Discussion on Nonprofit Advocacy, Public Policy and Community Engagement.
Like every C(3) Forum, this full-day event will bring together nonprofit professionals and funders for conversation and learning. New this year, we are also partnering with Chambers Family Fund, Colorado Health Foundation, Piton Foundation, Rose Community Foundation, and Grassroots Grantmakers to bring in national speakers and local experts.
Programming will include:
-
Keynote presentations from national thought leaders from the Alliance for Justice and the
National Council of Nonprofits -
Educational trainings and issue based discussions
-
Opportunities for inter and cross-sector networking and dialogue with professionals from around the state
