|Childhood obesity has nearly tripled in the past thirty years. While there are many causes to the problem there are few proven strategies to combat this costly epidemic. The New Balance Foundation Obesity Prevention Center Boston Children’s Hospital Childhood Obesity in the Community: Turning Science into Care brings together community leaders, health care providers and researchers to reveal novel approaches on how to implement and evaluate community interventions to effectively manage pediatric obesity. This conference is unique in that it provides both the science and practical application for why certain interventions are effective while others are not.|
