The 2017 Health Means Business National Summit, hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, is a two-day event to showcase the powerful lessons learned from the Health Means Business campaign on a national stage and convene high-level thought leaders and influencers from the ranks of business, government, nonprofit, health organizations, academia, and the media to discuss the correlation between our nation’s competitiveness and the health of our citizens.
The National Summit will feature high caliber keynotes, insightful panels, a small group breakout session, and a variety of networking and physical fitness opportunities. We will also unveil original research and highlight the campaign’s Health Champions Network.
In conjunction with the 2017 National Summit, the Health Means Business Healthy10 Awards ceremony will honor ten significant partnerships/initiatives involving cross-sector collaborations between local businesses and traditional and non-traditional partners to improve community wellness through greater economic opportunity. This also includes innovative businesses that are supporting the health of their consumers and communities within their core business models and missions.
All proceeds from the National Summit registration fee will be donated to DC Central Kitchen and the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington to support their mission of building a culture of health.
