Here's your opportunity to present your work at the AAMD Region V Meeting this Spring!

Do you have a topic that you’d like to present to dosimetrists? The American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD) is currently soliciting abstracts for presentations to be given at this meeting. We are looking for topics that will help dosimetrists with everyday tasks and cutting edge techniques that are relevant to a unique and challenging patient population. All topics will be considered - from case studies and tips and tricks in various treatment planning systems to SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, image registration, proton planning, new technologies, safety and more.

Terms and Conditions

1. If selected to present the SPEAKER shall be solely responsible for compliance with any speaking fees, rules, regulations, or responsibilities required by any organization of which the SPEAKER is a member or may be contractually obligated. SPEAKER further agrees that payment of speaking and rights licenses for all material to be presented is the responsibility of the SPEAKER. SPEAKER shall indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the AAMD, its officers or employees, from and against any and all claims or suits that may be made or brought against SPEAKER for non-compliance of any rules, regulations, or responsibilities required by said speaking or performing-rights licenses with respect to the presentation of any material presented under this Agreement.

2. If selected to present All speakers must disclose any relevant financial interest or other relationships which they or their spouse/partner have (a) with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial products(s) and/or provider(s) of commercial services discussed in an educational presentation and (b) with any commercial supporters of the activity. (Significant financial interest or other relationship includes such things as grants or research support, employee, consultant, major stockholder, member of speakers’ bureau, etc.) The intent of this disclosure is to provide activity participants with information to determine whether the speaker’s interests or relationships may influence the presentation with regard to exposition or conclusions.

3 A registration fee is associated with all AAMD events. If selected to present, speakers will receive a complimentary meeting registration and one night of lodging.  Additional housing and transportation are the responsibility of the speaker.
