The Davis-Thompson DVM Foundation will be conducting an eight-hour continuing education symposium entitled "Diagnostic Renal Pathology" . Course Director: Paco Uzal (University of California Davis) and invited guest lecturer Rachel Cianciolo (Ohio State University). Topics include: normal histology and ultra-structure of the kidney with a review of the nephron physiology and pathophysiology, glomerular diseases in small and large animals, anomalies of development including hereditary nephropathies, whole organ renal diseases, tubulointerstitial diseases, neoplastic diseases of the kidney and discussion of the presented material. Didactic lectures will be combined with audience participation to result in a engrossing day-long seminar.
