This 36.0 Hour Advanced EMT (AEMT) Refresher Course is intended for not only AEMT's needing to renew state and or NREMT certification, but also AEMT Students who need a state-approved refresher for remediation, as well as, additional continuing education hours. Paramedic needing continuing education hours can attend this course, as well.
The course is led by EMS subject matter experts and delivered in an environment conducive to quality, non-intimidating education. Delivery teachniques are designed to assist the participant to absorbe valuable information, enhance knowledge and skills in an effort to improve patient care outcomes.
This course is delivered live, on-site, in three, 12-hour blocks. Course dates are: February 2, 3, and 9, 2018 from 0800 hours - 2000 hours (8am - 8pm) Central Time. Additional information is emailed at completion of registration.
Content delivered is within the National EMS Education Standards and Scope of Practice meeting the NREMT's National Continued Competency Program (NCCP), as well as, standard refresher guidelines.

> Based upon the new EMS Education Standards and Scope of Practice for the AEMT.
> Includes the new TN EMS Pediatric and category hours requirements.
> Provides 36 of the required 50 hours to renew NREMT AEMT using the new NCCP renewal
> This is NOT an "upgrade" course from EMT-B to TN EMT-IV; or EMT-B to NREMT AEMT.
> This course alone may not qualify individuals to challenge the NREMT AEMT certification

> Includes the new TN EMS pediatric and category hour requirements for license renewal.
> Nationally accredited CAPCE (CECBEMS) Course #18-BENCH-F2-5003, approved for 36.0
hours at the Advanced level.
> Includes AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) Update (renewal); basic and advanced skills
sessions; CISM/CISD, SIDS and Domestic Violence updates.
