The C.L. Davis/S.W. Thompson Foundation will be conducting an eight-hour continuing education symposium entitled "Diagnostic Gastrointestinal Pathology" on October 19, 2018. Course Director Paco Uzal (University of California Davis) and invited guest lecturers Jesse Hostetter (Iowa State University) and Brandon Plattner (University of Guelph) will cover the following topics: An introduction to gastrointestinal pathology and mechanisms of diarrhea, microbiome, neonatal diarrheas in cattle and horses, small intestinal biopsies, clostridial enteric diseases, equine enterocolitis and discussion of cases.
